SHOW REPORT for Continental European Trophy Show 2004
C.E.T.S.

On Sunday 11th April 2004, Easter Sunday, the 28th Continental European Trophy Show (C.E.T.S.) took place in Belgium. The location was as usually the Cultural Centre Hoogendonck in Waasmunster. At the moment the Bull Terrier Club Belgium (B.T.C.B.) is the organizer of this big event. In the past the GBF from Germany was also participating in the organisation, but they have to many problems in Germany.

There was a lawsuit in November last year for the import ban in Germany. The court decided in February that each Federal State has to make their own rules for dangerous dogs and that the import ban still continues for whole Germany. Now at the moment there are 5 Federal States who didn’t have lists with “dangerous dogs” before this lawsuit and in that Federal States people are allowed to breed again.

The B.T.C.B. did a lot of work and had a lot of presents for all the participants and very nice Cups for the winners of all the different classes. Eukanuba was sponsoring this event and had a lot of bags dog food and t-shirts for the participants in C.E.T.S.

The judges invited for this event were Mr and Mrs Rawlings , they are Chairman and Secretary of the English Bull Terrier Club. They brought beautiful awards for the winners.

On the morning there is the Open Show. On this show everybody can participate with his or her dog. There were 52 entries for the Open Show. You can find the results of this Open Show on our website.
